Infinity Wars Reading Order

2018’s Infinity Wars was a way for Marvel to kick start their cosmic storylines for the 2018 Fresh Start relaunch. It serves as a vehicle to bring the infinity stones back into the Universe following the MCU’s success with Infinity War and Endgame to lure moviegoers into becoming comic book readers.

There can’t be an Infinity story without Thanos, who came back out of the events of Civil War II, then came back properly in 2013’s Infinity.

It isn’t the longest event Marvel have made and it serves more as a launchpad for the other arcs such as the new Guardians of the Galaxy and the Asgardians.

Here you’ll find what trades you’ll need to get the essential reading order as well as supplementary books. More importantly, is the issue by issue reading order for Infinity Wars at the bottom.

The order of sub arcs goes:

  1. Guardians of the Galaxy
  2. Infinity Countdown
  3. Infinity Wars
  4. Infinity Warps
