Forever Evil Reading Order

Forever Evil was the first line wide event during new 52, line wide being characters from outside of their sphere involved i.e Bat-family and Superman-family. Trinity War acts a sort of prelude to this main event and we have a Trinity War reading order.

It is an interesting event but not one which was Universe shattering, it also an event which didn’t bring in titles from main series of books such as Batman New 52, Superman or Wonder Woman making it a little light and perhaps not top tier.

The Crime Syndicate is an interesting idea but as they come from Earth-3 you know it’s not going to be a permanent change.

Either way, it’s an enjoyable read with decent collected editions and an easy to follow issue by issue chronological list.

Let’s get to it.

Forever Evil Trade Reading Order Checklist

DC New 52 Villains Omnibus

This is the only book where we’d say you wouldn’t miss anything if you gave it a miss. In September 2013 DC had a villains month (probably the basis for Year of the Villain years later) with SOME issues tying into Forever Evil. You can check out the Forever Evil issue reading order to find out which ones and where they fit in the story.

It’s a big, expensive book just to get a couple of issues but here it is:
