Welcome to the Batman Endgame reading order guide from The Gotham Archives. Here you’ll find the full reading order as well as advice on the best way to get them all.
Batman: Endgame is a 10 issue storyline as part of the Batman New 52 main series of comic books. It’s a short and sweet storyline that’s actually rather easy to collect and read in order in comparison to Night of the Owls and Death of the Family.

Batman: Endgame arc
As we mentioned previously, Batman: Endgame is a short arc but packs a powerful punch as it explores the grand return of the Joker following the events at the end of Death of the Family. It starts with Batman duelling against the big hitters from the Justice League while in an anti-Justice League suit who are infected by a new strain of Joker toxin. Batman: Endgame then explores what Joker’s endgame really is.
We won’t go into any details to not ruin it, and our review of Batman: Endgame can be found here.
In the grand scheme of the Batman Chronology and the New 52 reading order, Endgame should be read after Eternal. Superheavy is then read after it.

How to collect Batman: Endgame
Collecting Endgame as a trade is a cinch and you only need to get Batman main series and The Joker: Endgame tie ins. You’ll have to switch from one to the other and then back to read it in order but it’s not too bad. Its also quite cheap. In other reading orders we’ve mentioned collecting individual issues but with Endgame we really can’t see why that would make sense.
